I guess the original installment of Tha Carter III wasn't good enough for "Mr. Young Muuuula bayyby!" so he's decided to re-release the platinum plus album. The catch is Wayne won't be re-releasing a re-vamped version of the original Carter III, rather, this time around its going to be brand new music, primarily featuring songs that didn't make the cut the first time around.
He feels like the rebirth of C3 won't have the same impact the original album did so he doesn't want to go ahead and call it Tha Carter IV. This makes no sense to me because if you're at the top of your game, like Weezy is at the moment, why would you release music that won't be as acclaimed as your last project?? Everybody loved C3, and in your eyes, they will probably love C4, so why would you not want some to like C3.5?? Maybe I'm just thinking about this too much, maybe not. All I know is that I'll be pissed if the Rebirth doesn't offer something new, creativly, from the Birdman Jr.
