So I know its been a while since I've blessed my readers and now that I'm back, wow.. look at what I found. In a blockbuster trade the Denver Nuggets send Allen Iverson to the Detroit Pistons for Chauncey Billups, Antonio McDyess, and Cheikh Samb. We can talk about that later, but as I was browsing thru the various news outlets I receive the information I share with yall, I landed on this article that open my eyes, and imagination to all sorts of things. Let me lay some ground work down first & foremost.. Iverson's contract is up after this year as well as animated power foward Rasheed Wallace, which would give the Pistons about 22 million in cap room the following offseason. NOW...
Picture this.. the year is 2010, and LeBron James is now a free agent. Where could he land? New York? New Jersey/Brooklyn? LA? Miami? Nope. How about Detroit? It looks like Pistons GM, Joe Dumars is setting things up to make a run at King James, and with a squad that will have all-stars Richard Hamilton & Teyshaun Prince, as well as young up and comers Jason Maxiell, Rodney Stuckey, & Amir Johnson this team looks to be in the drivers seat in the LBJ sweepstakes.
