Free At Last

This was an outrage from jumpstreet, he should have NEVER seen the inside of a jail cell unless he was taking a tour: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090829/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_iraq_shoe_thrower

RIP Aaliyah Dana Haughton: My Angel & Yours

I would be ashamed of myself if I didn't take time out of my day today to pay tribute to one of the greatest souls to ever bless this here earth, Miss Aaliyah Haughton. It started for me with 'Age Ain't Nothin But A Number' and hasn't stopped since. Forget the tough guy bravado, when you lose someone who you love [RIP Uncle Johnny] you won't ever look at the death of anyone else after that as just another passing. Through her music, her movies, and her love & appreciation for life she left an indelible impact on the lives of her elders, her peers, and those who looked up to her. Baby girl, one in a million doesn't even begin to describe what you mean to us, just know that you'll forver be remembered & loved by many. Continue to look down on us from heaven.
Legendary: Rick Ruben Talks '99 Problems' [w/ Russell Simmons there to co-sign]
In case you clowns didn't know these two men launched Def Jam Recordings back in 1984, which has served as home to some of the GREATEST hip-hop artists of all time.

First there was the hit, then there went her freedom..
You have to pay to play.. Did I miss something??

Now in these neck of the woods Madden on the XBox 360 is like immunization shots, if you're not up to date, you put yourself at risk for severe illness. So with that said let me take this time to let all my readers know that this is more than "just a regualr video game", its a movement. From fantasy football, to online video games, or playing against opponents who could very well be halfway across the world [thru the XBox Live feature], the gaming industry is at an all time high with no signs of slowing down. It seems like the great folks over at EA Sports agree, and felt it necessary to capitalize in EVERY way, shape, and form. So for my 2010 gamers, beware, the reatail price of $59.99 is just the begininng of what you will have to pay in order to enjoy ALL of the game's new features. Although this will not have any effect on when or how often you can catch me with the controller in my hand it does force me to think: How far will these multi-billion dollar corporations go for a dollar??
I know we're in a recession but DAMN!

Dirty Bird

If the folks at the University of Louisville have any sense they'll keep a coach who's track record is proven because at the end of the day its all about winning right??

Suicide Watch
The police in South Africa should do a better job of protecting one of its own, and greatest, from the dangers of people who may be mentally unstable. Thank God Mr. Mandela wasn't harmed by someone who was being paid to protect him. Peep game: http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/africa/08/01/south.africa.suicide/index.html
The King He's Not..

“I WAS JUST LISTENING TO WENDY WILLIAMS AND HEARD SOME QUOTE ABOUT ME SAYING I’M THE NEW KING OF POP. NOT ONLY DID I NOT SAY THAT, I HAVEN’T SAID ANYTHING. IT MAKES ME FEEL BAD THAT OBVIOUSLY I MADE PEOPLE FEEL THAT I WOULD BE CORNY ENOUGH TO SAY SOMETHING SO WHACK AFTER THE PASSING OF AN IDOL, A LEGEND AND MORE THAN THAT A HUMAN BEING WITH FEELINGS AND FAMILY. IT SCARES ME TO THINK WHAT PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE, WITHOUT EVEN A SOURCE. ANY RANDOM PERSON CAN TYPE SOMETHING ON THE INTERNET AND THEN THE WORLD BELIEVES IT. I DON’T TALK TO PRESS OR DO TV OR DO PROMOTIONS OF ANY SORT. I’VE STOPPED CHASING AND BUYING INTO FAME. FAME IS LIKE CIGARETTES WITH NO SURGEON GENERAL WARNING. IT DESTROYS MOST PEOPLE AS IT DID TO THE TRUE AND ONLY KING OF POP. WE EXPLOIT OURSELVES AND EAT OUR OWN EGOS ‘TILL THERE IS NOTHING LEFT. I HAVE A FEELING THAT THIS WON’T BE THE LAST FALSE STATEMENT WITH MY NAME ON IT, BUT THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I DEFEND MYSELF. I’M DONE.”
The Debate Continues..
Larry Elder is out of touch with this entire issue in my opinion, and who invited Ben Stein??
