Another act of stupidity from America's finest.. "Why, because I'm a black man in America?"

Harvard's Henry Louis Gates Jr., a promient figure in the African-American community, was arrested last week on charges of disorderly conduct, the funny part is, the man never even left the comforts of his own home. Although charges were dropped on Tuesday this is what I mean when I say to y'all its tough enough just being black in this country on a day-to-day basis.. When will the racism ever end?? Or won't it??

Read what President Obama had to say here: http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/07/22/harvard.gates.interview/index.html

Director's Take

Looks like Mr. OchoCinco couldn't be Denzel's coverage, it's about time someone put his mouth in check [Sorry 8-5]... Now let's just hope Chad will make entertaining us ON the field his number one priority rather than providing entertainment off of it.

Great Hova Sounds Off

“I hear it all the time — ‘Yo, he should let the young guys, the new generation of guys come in.’ But you don’t become the front-runner in music because someone lets you. You have to claim your shoes,” Jay-Z says. “If you grow up listening to hip-hop, you love hip-hop and that’s the end of it. But if you’re a 30-year-old rapper still trying to make music like you’re 15, then you’re making it narrow. At my age, I can’t relate to a 15-year-old. I deal with mature and relevant topics for my age group — it has to all be based on true emotions. The more diversity and the more mature we make hip-hop, the bigger the net you cast.”

Looks like the greatest is getting ready to re-write the history books once again.. this Friday should be an EPIC day with the rumored new single "Run This Town" Ft. Rihanna & Kanye West.

Cancer haults the Beastie Boys.. for now.

What you've all been waitng for..

Now maybe you all will let these two just get on with their lives.. together or separately.

And for the record, although I don't personally condone hitting women none of us are in a place to judge Chris, or Rihanna for that matter, since none of us were there so calm the fuck down and move on to other serious topics we're faced with these days.

Today, home is where the heart is..

They asked me to put my thoughts into a brief statement [for the words to be inscribed on his grave] and the first thing that came to mind was: "an anchor to many, an inspiration to all", and they loved it. That's all I can really say when it comes to putting my feelings to words 365 days & 1 hour later. We miss you Uncle Johnny, always have, always will; but like I said at your funeral, if I don't accomplish anything else in life, my biggest accomplishment will be the fact that I did everything to keep the family together, just like you told me to. Continue to watch over us & from time to time, shower us with your tears of love.

A Farewell Fitted for a KING, cont'd.

Although you are no longer with us, Michael, your contributions to our world will crossover from generation to generation, until the end of time. From music to dance, hardwork to showmanship, you embodied it all and that is what you deserved to be remember for. I would be foolish if I didn't acknowledge 11-year-old Paris Michael Katherine Jackson's brief, yet powerful, farewell to her father, a testament to the man who love the world, and the seeds of the world, so much he spent his entire adult life fighting on their behalf. Please continue to shine down upon us from heaven and from time to time bless us with what it was you did best, spreading peace through your work in, and outside, the studio. Long live the king!!

Introducing Amir Junaid Muhadith

Personally, I don't know if this is the real deal or the artist formally known as Loon is just trying to re-create some type of buzz for himself. If it is, I want to personally wish you the best homie; we're all watching how the saga with Mr. Mason Betha is playing out so keep that in mind & take notes.

The balls behind the operation

Never been one to bite his tongue, Vice President Joe Biden made his feelings clear today while visiting Iraq, where he presided at a naturalization ceremony for 237 U.S. service members: "We did it in Saddam's palace and I can think of nothing better. That S.O.B. is rolling over in his grave right now..." In my personal opinion, we need more of this in a country where BS is beginning to reign supreme.
